The Problem :
This Yamaha Fz1 was dropped to me for some custom ecu tuning as the customer had carried out some heavy modifications and wanted the best performance from his Fz .When up on the dyno we would derestrict the ecu and fully customize the ecu to the bike for a smoother riding experience and of course to increase power . 😉
What was done :
When we first put the Fz1 on the dyno we sample all throttle openings and log the fault areas, this is achieved by step testing on our dyno which basically magnifies a problem area .With this Fz 1 in particular there were a lot of problem areas because of the removal of the catalytic converter ,secondary buttery’s and a slip on end can was fitted.
We then check the bikes power with a sweep test (power run ) done at 100% throttle.When this is complete we remove the bikes ecu (which is in the airbox on the Fz …… not fun to get to ). The ecu is flashed in correspondence to our logged data previously gathered ,changes are made and restriction removed .This process can take up to 5 hours in total to completely fine tune your ecu to your bike .

Over 10 bhp and 6 ftlbs of torque were achieved with the custom dyno ecu flash
Option 1 : Post in your ECU, contact me with the spec (exhaust, air filter, etc) and I can flash the ECU without the bike and is flashed with dyno built maps Price : €350
